Heatway's been designing snow and ice prevention systems since 1981. These systems automatically melt snow and ice by circulating fluids through piping embedded in concrete, or beneath brick pavers. Our piping material is called Entran. Entran is an engineered, industrial grade, elastomeric piping that is nearly indestructible. It resists crushing impacts at the job site, and temperature extremes required during installation and system operation.
Heatway's snowmelting designs employ the use of a new and highly accurate method of snowmelt analysis called RadiantWorks™. This is the most sophisticated hydronic snowmelting software in the industry. It accurately executes a snowmelt performance analysis for any condition. RadiantWorks™ specifies the size, spacing and depth of Entran, as well as the required water temperatures, pump specifications and heat requirement of a system.
